At the McKenna Gallery, Cornelius Browne’s new exhibition, ‘An Invite to Eternity’, charts a year in a small coastal village and its environs in west Donegal. The artist, raised in Donegal, developed a practice based around plein air painting, for which he is a passionate advocate. The works in the exhibition were created entirely outdoors, in all weathers and at all times of the day and night, creating an engaging record of the area’s landscape.
