In collaboration with Fingal Co Council arts office, Draíocht has commissioned a new piece of work from Ann Ensor. Ensor is an installation artist who combines drawing, sculpture, sound and performance. Environmental issues are central to her practice and this new installation will explore the significance to the environment of kelp seaweed. Kelp is hugely important to the natural environment, acting as a carbon sink, a barrier against coastal erosion and a life source for marine creatures.
