Alison Lowry’s ‘The Bystander Effect’ at An Táin Arts Centre reflects on the recently published reports into the history of Mother and Baby Homes and Magdalene laundries and the Historical Institutional Abuse (Hart) report. The artist uses found objects to create a sculptural piece that questions whether survivors will receive the justice they deserve.
