The Philadelphia Museum of Art presents a survey of the work of artist Sean Scully that features paintings and works on paper from the early 1970s to the present. ‘Sean Scully: The Shape of Ideas’ charts the artist’s contributions to abstract painting as it has developed over the last half-century, emphasising the integral relationship between Scully’s paintings, drawings, watercolours and prints, which are rarely exhibited together.
