Carlow-born artist Phoebe Cope shows paintings and sculpture at the Biggar & Upper Clydesdale Museum. Her vivid works depict domestic scenes from her daily life in the Scottish uplands where she now lives. In contrast, her stone sculptures have a simple, naïve quality. Cope studied Fine Art at the Ruskin school at Oxford followed by the Royal Drawing School in London and exhibits in both Ireland and the UK.
