The Custom House Studios and Gallery present three new exhibitions. In ‘An Idle Plasticity (Also a Floating Unreality)’, Helen Hughes manipulates industrially manufactured elements to probe ideas around our consumerist society; in ‘Enaction (1), A Private Sphere’, Ciara McMahon explores portraiture, people and objects and their relationship to one another; while in ‘Imagine Life Without Art’, Bernadette Kiely presents a meditation on environmental concerns, drawing on her longstanding interest in the floodings of the Nore and Suir, using artistic techniques to question weather processes.
