The Atlantic horizon line from his Donegal base informs Paul Hallahan’s current series of paintings on show at The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon. The works in his exhibition, ‘Hopefully’, consider how the transition between light and dark leads one forward in a linear idea of time. Accompanying the paintings is a new video work, sun, sun, sun, made in collaboration with Edinburgh-based musician and composer, Joe Harney.
