Yuri Pattison’s ‘Dream Sequence’, a multimedia installation, is on show with the Urbane Künste Ruhr, Bochum, Germany. Pattison’s LED display is showing at a former multi-level pumping station of a Ruhr riverwater-treatment plant, and is accompanied by the elusive sound of a Disklavier (a MIDI reproducing piano) in the space. The work considers the impact of digital technologies on humanity, as well as human intervention in the natural world.
