Animation, painted silk panels, three-dimensional works and drawings feature in Emma Talbot’s ‘The Age/L’Età’ at The Model. The artist explores themes of representation and ageing, power and governance, and attitudes towards nature. Talbot takes Gustav Klimt’s painting The Three Ages of Woman (1905) and resituates his elderly protagonist as a woman with agency in today’s world.
