‘A Reality of Science Fiction’, George Bolster’s installation at the Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar, is a film about pollinator communication. Bolster uses multiple, sometimes contrasting narratives to explore other animal and plant languages and interspecies linguistics. The exhibition also includes a kinetic mobile piece tracking the evolution of different species languages.
