Caitriona Dunnett’s ‘A Well Trodden Path’ at Galway City Museum is a collection of handcrafted photographs, including cyanotypes, taken around the townland of Lackagh, County Galway. Exploring a series of mass paths, trails used for decades by parishioners journeying from their homes to celebrate illegal mass during Penal times, Dunnett followed in the footsteps of those who used the paths and recorded these re-enactments in order to commemorate their resilience, courage and commitment.
