Catriona Gallagher presents work from her ongoing comparative research into forestry plantations in the West of Ireland and in the North-East of England at the Roscommon Arts Centre. Through film, models and drawings, Gallagher casts the plantations as a manifestation of the ‘artificial natural’ and reflects on digital landscapes, greenwashing policies and the extractivist practices that threaten ecological collapse.
