For her exhibition ‘Terra Nullius’ at the Custom House Studios and Gallery, Westport Quay, artist Angela Gilmour conducted research on Svalbard, an archipelago that lies between mainland Norway and the North Pole, where climate change is hastening glacial melting. Gilmore, who was formerly a physicist, chronicles the history and development of Svalbard through painting, etching, drawing and photography.
