Inspired by her local surroundings, and with a desire to move away from using toxic materials, artist Marie-Louise Martin turned to drypoint and drawing. For her exhibition, ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’ at Esker Arts, Tullamore, Martin explores objects in her vicininty and hopes to encourage the viewer to observe their own surroundings and find beauty in the unexpected.
