Cal Byrne has recently been in residence at Mono Lisboa. Byrne presents ‘Aguas passados náo movem milho’, a new film that traces the plight of Cais do Ginjal (Ginjal Pier), a once-thriving maritime space that faded after the opening of the 25 de Abril Bridge. The film includes interviews with the area’s last inhabitants and considers themes of urban development and gentrification.
