‘Soul Songs’ by Beverley Healy at the Island Arts Centre in Lisburn is a collection of egg tempera portraits, complemented print and mixed-media works. Linda O’Kane’s ‘House Whisperings’ are papier-mâché and spun-cotton little houses that were inspired by vernacular architecture. ‘ArtEast – The Magic Brush’ looks to the rich tradition of art in China; while Keith Sheppard’s ‘Art in Glass’ fuses glass and metal to create vibrant pieces.
