The FE McWilliam Gallery, Banbridge celebrates women artists through two summer exhibitions. In the main gallery, ‘Scottish Women Artists: 250 Years of Challenging Perceptions’ highlights the work of women who broke down prejudices and barriers, paving the way for the contemporary art scene in Scotland. In the sculpture garden, north coast-based sculptor Sara Cunningham-Bell presents her solo exhibition, ‘Congruent’, with work in wood, steel, concrete and bronze.
Scottish Women Artists: 250 Years of Challenging Perceptions and Sara Cunningham-Bell: 8 June – 2 September
