The Oliver Sears Gallery presents an exhibition of carvings placed in slate frames by sculptor Jason Ellis. ‘Monkey Gone to Heaven’ memorialises extinct animals in stone, the most famous of which, the dodo, has entered the lexicon to hyperbolise death.
