‘Stasis Field’ by Kathy Prendergast at the John Hansard Gallery in Southampton features works that intertwine memory, transformation and the passage of time. Building on the artist’s long engagement with maps, new hand-coloured works reflect on human connections to land, borders and their histories. The centrepiece is a collection of volcanic maps that merge the physical and emotional.
