The Hillsboro Fine Art Gallery, Parnell Square, presents a selection of paintings and drawings from the 1960s and 1970s by the Irish artist, Paul Mosse. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see seminal works from the early years of Mosse’s artistic career that have never been exhibited in Ireland before. The Kilkenny-born artist is better known for his use of non-traditional media and the creation of innovative sculptural artworks. However, drawing has always been at the heart of his work. Made when Mosse was living in London, the drawings and paintings on display very much reflect the period in which they were created, channelling the bold invention and integrity of the artist.
