The RHA presents two ‘must-see’ exhibitions this spring featuring work by Dorothy Cross and James Hanley. The exhibition of new and existing work by Cross titled ‘Connemara’ comes to Dublin following its debut at Turner Contemporary, Margate (see the interview with Dorothy Cross on page 76 of this edition). Many of the artist’s works incorporate items found on the shore, including boats and animal skins, while others reflect on the environment. Dublin-based Hanley is one of our foremost portrait artists. Painting many official and state portraits, he is represented in significant public, corporate and private collections at home and abroad.
