The Crawford Art Gallery showcases a selection of work by Mark Clare, an artist who is gaining a deserved reputation nationally and internationally, in the exhibition ‘I “Believe” in You’. Taking its title from one of four new works created for the Crawford Art Gallery, the exhibition features a number of key works from the last five years. Clare seeks to engage with and highlight unresolved incongruities within society while encouraging the viewer to scrutinize cultural misnomers through his interpretation of the politics of globalization, society and public space.
