A selection of works by Mark Shields, is on display at Dickon Hall at the Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast this September. This series of paintings on muslin displays a remarkable range in mood, style, source and effect. A recent series of paintings of heads and a group of small landscape paintings will also be on display, offering an interesting correlation to the figure paintings.
