The new Cork Criminal Court House has won this year’s RIAI Innovation Award. The work, which involved building a substantial four-storey extension to the rear of the old district court – the former model school – has created a court house of distinction that has simultaneously revived a Victorian building and introduced a contemporary structure into the streets of Cork.
