Drawing lies at the heart of Felicity Clear’s practice, no matter what medium she chooses to work in. Her art takes many forms and scales, from two-dimensional works on paper to sculptural installations; from small provisional constructions to animations; and using pencil, ink, tape, wire and other material. Yet, a unifying thread running throughout her work is a clear commitment to the line as a fundamental feature of artistic creation.
