I reland is full of individual pottery makers at the moment. Every area seems to have a resident potter living in our inspiring countryside. Many have come through the excellent ceramic courses in colleges or the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland’s specialised course, and are well skilled. Sinéad Fagan is one of these artists. As a functional craftsperson myself, I can put my hand on my heart and say about her, ‘this is the work of an artist’.
