‘Arthur Armstrong: a Centenary Exhibition’ at the Carrickfergus Museum features over thirty paintings by the artist in a display that marks his relationship with the town. Armstrong was part of a group of painters that included Gerard Dillon and George Campbell. His early paintings explore the realities of life in wartime and postwar Belfast.
