Orlaith Cullinane’s ten-month residency at Armagh County Museum has, by her own admission, been an adventure where the common object can take on strange new perspectives. The exhibition, ‘Stray Sod’, is the culmination of her work at the museum. She uses the folk tradition of the ‘fóidín meara’ to demonstrate that we often don’t have to stray far from the familiar path to be transported into a world where everything is suddenly disorienting.
