The Luan Gallery in Athlone presents solo exhibitions by three emerging artists: Elaine Hoey, Clare Scott and Louise Wallace. Based on interactive installations, Hoey’s work uses virtual reality technologies to explore the politics of digital humanity and our evolving relationship with screens. Scott will present a site-specific installation, responding to the limitations of the space and using primarily recycled materials, while Wallace’s work in photography and film offers a more intimate exploration of the transition from analogue to digital media.
