The Luan Gallery present their second centenary exhibition, ‘The People The Land’. Following on from ‘100’, this show features work by Tom Byrne and Paul Woods. Byrne exhibits sixteen new works based on the 1916 Rising, featuring portraits of the executed rebel leaders. This section of the exhibition will form ‘The People’, while Woods’ contribution of five new landscape-based paintings forms ‘The Land’. Created using archival photographs, the paintings are worked in an abstract expressionist style.
