For its autumn programme, the Luan Gallery shows work by Susan Buttner, Serena Caulfield and Anne Harkin-Petersen. Using ideas of knowledge, power and identity, Buttner integrates industrial and handmade objects into performance, film and sound-based installations, while Caulfield’s paintings create tactile re-imaginings of personal and family histories. Petersen, influenced by abstract expressionism, uses bold gestures and colour to create immersive works.
