The FE McWilliam Gallery and Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council present ‘Scottish Colourists from the Fleming Collection’, with works from the Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation and loans from National Museums Northern Ireland. The four key Scottish colourist artists, F C B Cadell, J D Fergusson, G L Hunter and S J Peploe are shown, with artists who were early influencers of their work. The exhibition represents some of the greatest achievements in Scottish art. Their direct contact with French Post- Impressionism and other Fauve artists inspired them to create some of the most innovative British art of the period. Image: Samuel Peploe
