‘Those Images that Yet, Fresh Images Beget’ by Raymond Watson is the first of two exhibitions at the ArtisAnn Gallery. The title comes from a response from Seamus Heaney to a series of artworks Watson completed inspired by WB Yeats. Here, Watson looks to Heaney’s work creating an imaginative amalgamation of painting and poetry. An exhibition of paintings by Rosie McGurran features a series of works that evoke the idyllic days of childhood holidays, when making daisy-chains and fishing for tadpoles seemed the only way to spend one’s time.
