The history of photography as a tool for exploration, capturing and circulating views of the world, is the focus of Belfast Photo Festival’s ‘Journey’. Contemporary photographers respond to the idea of journeys today and the featured projects approach the topic from new and surprising angles, charting civil unrest, epic pilgrimages, the passage of time, unwritten histories and self-discovery.
