‘Unafraid Yellow’ is the second of four exhibitions showing the work of Queen Street Studios artists, curated by Colin Darke. Historically, the colour yellow had had different meanings, such as cowardice and imbalance, as well as signifying dignity. It is also the colour of joy, and one which we engage with on a daily basis through natural light. The work in this exhibition reflects on these understandings and the universal significance of ‘yellow’. It includes work by Sean Campbell, Ashley Holmes, Mark McGreevy, Clement McAleer, Robert Moriarty, and Zoe Murdoch.
