In contrast to the political, military and guerrilla histories that have dominated the Decade of Centenaries, a new exhibition, ‘Small Lives: at Home in Cork 1920’, at Nano Nagle Place documents the experience of Corkonians through the prism of school registers of the North and South Presentation Convents. Archival material, press clippings and photographs display the connections between the Presentation Convent and the wider city. Work from David Rooney is also on exhibit.
