For the second exhibition of its new, artist-direction annual programme, the Crawford Art Gallery exhibits Kevin Gaffney’s film Expulsion. This new programme supports artists to pursue their current research interests and connect with audiences through a collaboration with the gallery’s site, collection and location. Expulsion was shot in part at the Crawford and explores an imaginary Queer State; an anti-capitalist society whose citizens strive to live in harmony with the environment. A second new film by the artist, Far from the Reach of the Sun, will also be on view.
