At the Lavit Gallery, Bridget Flannery exhibits paintings that express the artist’s encounters with, and responses to, the natural world, particularly the changing landscapes of the shoreline, riverbank and bog. She brings together paint, paper, colour and texture to create new shapes and edges, finding an unexpected tension between surfaces and planes of light.
