New work by Frieda Meaney is on view at the Cork Meaney After Panama . Meaney spent a period in Panama living with the Guna tribe in the remote Guna Yala region of the rainforest (bordered by the Caribbean Sea and Colombia). Her exhibition addresses the challenging conditions for the region’s indigenous peoples, exacerbated by the climate crisis.
