GalleryX presents ‘The Shamanic Eye’, an exhibition featuring previously unseen photographs by American photographer William Mortensen (1897–1965), alongside work by artists including Chris Stein, Courtney Brooke Hall, Brittany Rose Luciani, Andres Serrano, Ken Weaver and Destiny Turner. The exhibition draws on the idea of the artist being like a shaman, a mediator and transformer who stands between the visible and invisible worlds.
