Ann Armstrong’s ‘LifeScapes’ are on show upstairs at Walters in Dún Laoghaire. Using her nursing knowledge, Armstrong explores fractal patterns and biological systems in the natural world. Fractals, like bifurcating tree branches, river tributaries, canyons, clouds and ferns, are analogous with blood vessels, airways and dendritic nerve pathways.
