The Hugh Lane Gallery presents ‘Worlds Without End’, a diverse series of visual stories centred around borders, a collaboration between Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin, and the Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation in New York. Political turbulence and displacement of people as well as the drive towards an ever-expanding economic globalisation creates a complex contradiction. Global trepidations around a rising populist push towards border fortification are reflected by the concerns of the artists in the exhibition, which features work by Lieven De Boeck, Elaine Byrne, John Byrne, Tony Cokes, Chto Delat, Dor Guez, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Dragana Jurišic, Ari Marcopoulos, Raqs Media Collective, Dermot Seymour and Mark Wallinger.
