IMMA presents ‘Hamad Butt: Apprehensions’, the first retrospective exhibition of the work of groundbreaking artist Hamad Butt (1962–1994). The show restages two of Butt’s most significant series, ‘Familiars’ and ‘Transmission’, which forged new encounters between art and science in the time of AIDS. It is accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue of the artist’s work.
