The Molesworth Gallery shows new work by Gillian Lawler. Titled ‘There Are Intangible Realities Which Float Near Us, Formless and Without Words’, it continues the artists exploration of place, organisation, relocation and transformation in a variety of media. The exhibition also incorporates personal experience and reflections on unease and change. Catherine Marshall has commented that unease pervades Lawler’s work, hanging ‘like microscopic atoms of pollution in the air’, yet, despite this, her work is uplifting and celebratory, lifted by the artist’s use of colour, texture and scale.
Due to Covid-19 exhibition dates have changed. Please check the venues website for further details
