Michelle Malone’s first major solo exhibition, ‘O, To Have Little House’, at The LAB Gallery considers ideas of embodied identity, social housing and the consequences of housing displacement through sculpture, installation and film. The artist draws on her grandmother’s experience of moving out from a city-centre tenement to a newly built suburb.
