The Molesworth Gallery presents the work of Mollie Douthit. Her ideas for paintings often form while daydreaming, while out walking or after a conversation that triggers a memory from the past. Happy, difficult, bittersweet and nostalgic memories are explored through the medium of paint. As she develops the work, she wonders, ‘How can I make this object or space just as emotive as it is in my mind?’
