In ‘The Decameron/Na Deich Lá’, at Project Arts Centre, Eva Richardson McCrea reimagines Giovanni Boccaccio’s 14th-century stories through the setting of a contemporary coliving building, following ten protagonists as they navigate the housing crisis. Based on McCrea’s own experience, a film shot on an iPhone draws on motifs, themes and tropes from literature, television, theatre, self-help guides, social media and advertising.
