In ‘Beacons’ at the Copperhouse Gallery, photographer Daragh Muldowney shows a new photobook and exhibition of photography from Lake Baikal in Siberia. The largest freshwater lake on the planet and home to thousands of species of plants and animals, Muldowney has been photographing the site for three years. His images illustrate the immense beauty of the ice there and the small trees that mark out the road traversing the frozen lake.
