In addition to learning about its architectural history, spanning the medieval to the modern, visitors to Enniscorthy Castle also have the opportunity to learn about furniture designer Eileen Gray, who was born close to the town. The second of two permanent exhibitions dedicated to Gray’s designs, the display includes examples of her furniture – such as the iconic Bibendum chair and her circular side table.
