The Lewis Glucksman Gallery presents ‘2116’, an exhibition asking how Ireland will look from both within the country and from outside in one hundred years’ time. From our contemporary vantage point, halfway between the origins of Irish independence in 1916 and an unknown, imagined future, how do visual artists see the next 100 years? Taking place a century after the Easter Rising, this will be a platform for what is rising now, questioning how the past shapes the future. Participating artists include Amanda Coogan, Ramon Kassam, Eleanor Duffin, Mairead O’hEocha, and Niamh O’Malley.
2116: 25 March – 3 July
